WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of the
Service Center project; and,
WHEREAS, Nash Construction Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $2,543,000. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Nash Construction Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, ThEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Nash Construction Company in the amount of
$2,543,000. 00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with same
for construction of the Service Center project.
