R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 18, 1981, the City of Beaumont adopted
Resolution 81-340 awarding construction of the Riverfront Park
Pedestrian Underpsss to Trotti and Thomson and approving Change Order
No. 1 decreasing the amount of the contract to $488,309.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 to said contract has been
proposed increasing the total cost by the sum of $4,715.00 to
construct two (2) manholes in the storm sewer, to encase the Gulf
States Utility underground electrical power lines to and from the
underpass structure in concrete, and to delete 4" underground
conduit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2, in the amount of $4,715. 00 to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and Trotti and Thomson increasing the
amount of the contract from $488,309.00 to $493,024. 00.
