R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
the towing of junked, wrecked or inoperable motor vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, Chuck 's Wrecker Service of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid to pay the City of Beaumont the amount of $15. 50
per vehicle; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Chuck 's Wrecker Service is the best bid and should be
accepted;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter
into a one (1) year contract with Chuck 's Wrecker Service for the
towing of junked, wrecked or inoperable motor vehicles for a
payment to the City of Beaumont of $15.50 per vehicle.
