WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of the
Exercise Trail at Babe Didrikson Zaharias Park; and,
WHEREAS, Merrill Construction Company submitted a bid in
the amount of $11,500- 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Merrill Construction Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAI' the bid of Merrill Construction Company in the amount of
$11,500. 00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Merrill Construction Company for construction of the exercise
trail at Babe Didrikson Zaharias Park.
