WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of the
Dowlen Road TIP Project; and,
WHEREAS, Troy Dodson Construction Company submitted a
bid in the amount of $2,877,277. 00 and.,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Troy Dodson Construction Company is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Troy Dodson Construction Company in the amount of
$2,877,277. 00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Troy
Dodson Construction Company for construction of the Dowlen Road
TIP Project.
