WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) small rubber track
excavator for the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, United Rentals of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount of$47,000;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by United Rentals
of Beaumont should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by United Rentals of Beaumont for the purchase of one (1)
Takeuchi TB145C for the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division in the
amount of$47,000 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day of
January, 2004.
