WHEREAS, on November 17, 1981, the City Council adopted
Resolution 81-468 awarding a contract to H. B. Neild and Sons,
Inc. , for the construction of swimming and wading pools in Magnolia
Park in the amount of $621,700. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the construction of swimming and wading pools in Magnolia Park
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be,
and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment to H. B. Neild
and Sons, Inc. , in the amount of $174,116.00.
