WHEREAS, on August 5, 1980, the City Council awarded the
Buford-Carroll Street C.A.P. Project to Bella Company in the amount
of $1,976,429.50; and,
WHEREAS, on March 10, 1981 and April 28, 1981, the City
Council passed resolutions approving Supplemental Agreements 1 and
2 in the amounts of $3,760. 00 and $ 67,540.74, respectively ,
bringing the total contract amount to $2,047,730. 24; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed at a total cost
of $2,098,857. 38;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Buford-Carroll Street C.A.P. Project is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
make final payment to Bella Company in the amount of $205,789. 60.
