R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the warehouse and
extension project at the Water Utilities Service Center; and,
WHEREAS, Jay Garth, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount
of $51, 613.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Jay Garth, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jay Garth, Inc. in the amount of $51,613. 00 is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract with Jay Garth, Inc. for
construction of a warehouse and extension of the existing vehicle
storage facilities at the Utilities Service Center.
