WHEREAS, on November 3, 1981, the City of Beaumont
entered into a contract with Hycon Construction for Sanitary Sewer
Improvements, Project No. 15 — Sewer Rehabilitation, in the amount
of $452, 724. 16; and,
WHEREAS., Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $20,650- 00
has been recommended to provide for necessary field repair work at
those locations where existing internal obstructions block passage
of the T.V. camera and of the grouting equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No . 1 to the contract with Hycon Construction thereby
increasing the contract amount from $452,724. 16 to $473,374. 16.
