R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1982, bids were received for an
oil, gas and mineral lease of Morgan Park; and,
WHEREAS, Sun Exploration and Production Company of
Dallas, Texas submitted the following:
Item Amount
Lease bonus : $175.00 per acre $11, 107. 25
Annual Rental: $ 20.00 per acre 1 ,269. 40
Royalty = 1/4 (one fourth)
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Sun Exploration and Production Company is the best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT' the bid of Sun Exploration and Production Company in the
amount stated above is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont,
and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an oil, gas
and mineral lease of Morgan Park with Sun Exploration and
Production Company. .
