WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of a 24"
water transmission line and improvements to Loeb high service
pumping station located in Hardin County; and,
WHEREAS, McCullough Contracting Co. , submitted a bid in
the amount of $1,144,796.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by McCullough Contracting Co. , is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of McCullough Contracting Co. , in the amount of
$1, 144, 796. 00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for
construction of a 24" water transmission line and improvements to
Loeb high service pumping station located in Hardin County.
