R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6) months contract
for Chevrolet automobile parts and service and Chevrolet truck
parts and service; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Motor Company of Beaumont, Texas
submitted the following:
Automobile :
a) Cost off Price List----25%
b) Price Schedule ----Dealer
c) Effective Date of ----2/25/82
Schedule
d) Labor Rate per Hour----Shop $30.00/hour
----Field - Time & one-half
Truck:
a) Cost off Price List----25%(where applicable)
b) Price Schedule ----Dealer
c) Effective Date of ----2/25/82
Schedule
d) Labor Rate per Hour----Shop $30. 00/hour
----Field - Time & one-half
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Beaumont Motor Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Beaumont Motor Company in the amount stated above
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a six (6) months contract for
Chevrolet automobile parts and service and Chevrolet truck parts
and service.
