WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6) months contract
for Ford automobile parts and service and Ford truck parts and
service; arid,
WHEREAS, Kinsel Ford, Inc. , of Beaumont, Texas submitted
the following:
Automobile:
a) Cost off Price List----25%
b) Price Schedule ----Dealer
c) Effective Date of ----March 1 , 1982
Schedule
d) Labor Rate per Hour----Field $23-00/hour
----Shop $23.00/hour
Truck:
a) Cost off Price List----25%(where applicable)
b) Price Schedule ----Dealer
c) Effective Date of ----March 1 , 1982
Schedule
d) Labor Rate per Hour----Field $25-00/hour
----Shop $25- 00/hour
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Kinsel Ford, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Kinsel Ford., Inc. , in the amount stated above is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a six (6) months contract for Ford
automobile parts and service and Ford truck parts and service.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
