WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of Dresser
Style 160 and 60 repair clamps for the Water Distribution
Division; and,
WHEREAS, SPI Municipal Supply of Lafayette, Louisiana
submitted a bid in the amount of $8,530. 68; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by SPI Municipal Supply is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of SPI Municipal Supply in the amount of $8,530. 68 is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery.
