WHEREAS., bids were received for a six (6) months
contract for Ready Mix Concrete; and,
WHEREAS, Cowboy Concrete Corporation of Beaumont, Texas
submitted the following:
Item Amount
Five (5) sack Ready Mix Concrete $54. 95/cubic yard
Add or deduct cement @ $4.00 per sack
Type III High Early Cement $57- 95/cubic yard
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Cowboy Concrete Corporation is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Cowboy Concrete Corporation in the amount stated
above is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Cowboy
Concrete Corporation for Ready Mix Concrete.
