R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing ambulances
and radio communications and telemetry equipment for use by
Beaumont Emergency Medical Service; and,
WHEREAS, the below listed manufacturers submitted the
following bids :

General Electric Eight (8) Tone Voice Pagers $ 2,376. 00
(Houston, Texas) One (1) Encoder 293. 00
Three (3) Mobile Radios 4, 275. 00
Pioneer Medical Four ( 4) Portable Suitcase Radios $ 20, 996. 00
Systems Two (2) Auto Telephone
(Melrose, Ma. ) Interconnects 39,950. 00
Two (2) Biotelemetry Consoles 21,000. 00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by the foregoing manufacturers are the lowest and
best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of the above listed manufacturers in the amounts
stated are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery.
