WHEREAS, on March 21, 1981, the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract to Watkins Construction in the amount of $268,800. 00 for
the construction of the Carroll Street Day Care Center; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the project is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to make final payment
to Watkins Construction in the amount of $26,880. 00.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
