R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for additions and renova-
tions to the Kenneth Street Fire Station; and,
WHEREAS, Watkins Construction submitted a bid in the
amount of $32, 800. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Watkins Construction is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Watkins Construction in the amount of $32,800. 00
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Watkins
Construction for additions and renovations to the Kenneth Street
Fire Station.
