R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, under the Assessment Paving Program of the City
of Beaumont, petitions have been presented requesting assessment
paving projects for the following streets : Cartwright from Fourth
to Eighth; Prairie from Sixth to Seventh; Eighth from Corley to
Washington; Seventh from Bolivar to Washington; Francis Place; and
Roberts from Fourth to Eighth;
WHEREAS, there are no appropriated funds available for
tl)e assessment paving program; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
assessment paving program should be suspended until funds are
appropriated therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the receipt and sufficiency of the above petitions are hereby
acknowledged and that no further action be taken thereon until
funds are appropriated therefor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the assessment paving
program is hereby suspended and that no further petitions for
assessment paving projects will be received until funds are
appropriated therefor.
