R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of the
Phelan - Liberty Connector Project; and,
WHEREAS, C & P Equipment Corporation submitted a bid in
the amount of $243,792. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by C & P Equipment Corporation is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of C & P Equipment Corporation in the amount of
$243,792. 00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with C & P
Construction for the construction of the Phelan - Liberty
Connector.
