WHEREAS, on August 4, 1981, the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract to Mar-Len, Inc. , in the amount of $83,868. 00 for the
School Sidewalk Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, the project has been completed at a cost of
$83,813. 00 or $55. 00 below the original contract amount;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the project is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to make final payment
to Mar-Len, Inc. , in the amount of $21,632. 65.
