WHEREAS., bids were received for an annual contract for
maintenance of elevators ; and,
WHEREAS, Houston Elevator Service of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid, in the amount of $6, 119. 88/year; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Houston Elevator Service is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Houston Elevator Service in the amount of
$6,119. 88 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a one year contract with
Houston Elevator Service for maintenance of elevators.
