R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on December 8, 1981, the City of Beaumont adopted
Resolution #81-501 awarding a contract for Grant #C-481254-04 -
Contract I - STP to C .F.W. Construction Company, Inc. , of
Fayetteville, Tennessee in the amount of $5,816,300. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed increasing the total cost by the sum of $2,482. 00 to replace
a badly deteriorated existing manhole;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CIT"Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 , in the amount of $2 ,482. 00 to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and C .F.W. Construction Company, Inc. ,
increasing the amount of the contract from $5,816,300. 00 to
$5,818,782. 00.
