R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6 ) month contract
for International truck parts and service; and,
WHEREAS, Tidelands International, Inc. , submitted the
following:
Discount Off Price List -20% (where applicable)
Price Schedule - Contract - International
Harvester published price
for large fleets
Effective Date of - 1/25/82 - (revised quarterly
Schedule by International Harvester
Co. )
Labor Rate Per Hour - Shop - $27. 00/hour
Field - $27.00/hour
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Tidelands International, Inc. , is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Tidelands International, Inc. , as set out above is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery .
