WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing and delivering
one (1 ) pumping unit, can and motor starter equipment; and,
WHEREAS, Peabody Floway, Inc. , submitted a bid in the
amount of X87, 035.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Peabody Floway, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Peabody Floway, Inc. , in the amount of $87,035. 00
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery.
