WHEREAS, bids were received for the regalvanizing of
filter arms ; and,
WHEREAS, Southwest Galvanizing, Inc. , submitted a bid in
the amount of approximately $9,684. 02 at $30.89/cwt ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Southwest Galvanizing, Inc. , is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Southwest Galvanizing, Inc. , for regalvanizing
filter arms in the approximate amount of $9,684. 02 is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make payment for same upon completion.
