WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contracts for
petroleum products; and,
WHEREAS, Mobil Oil of Beaumont, Texas submitted the
following:

WHEREAS, Sitton Oil and Marine of Beaumont, Texas
submitted the following:

- Tankwagon Load 1.0399/gallon
Regular Gasoline - Transport Load $ . 9849/gallon
- Tankwagon Load 1.0049/gallon
Diesel #2 - Tankwagon Load $1.0249/gallon

and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Oil of Houston, Texas submitted the
following:
Diesel #2 - Transport Load $ .9750/gallon

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by the aforementioned bidders are the lowest and
best bids and should be accepted ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of the above mentioned bidders in the amounts stated
are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute a one ( 1 ) year contract with same
for products as ordered and delivered.
