R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the
purchase of a parcel of land needed for a water tower on Major
Drive ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following parcel of land is hereby
authorized:
A tract of land out of the C . Williams Survey ,
Abstract #59, fronting 150 feet on the east
side of Major Drive and 200 feet along the
south line of the LNVA Canal which lays
approximately 1, 200 feet south of Pevitot Road
and shall be rectangular in shape, all in the
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, for
the sum of $20, 000. 00.
