R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on November 24, 1981, the City of Beaumont awarded
a bid for the construction of Riverfront Park to H. B. Neild and
Sons, Inc. , in the amount of $1 ,697, 000.00 including Alternate No. 1 ;
and,
WHEREAS, the contract for the construction of Riverfront
Park has been assigned to Beaumont Structures, Inc. ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby approves the assignment of the
contract for construction of Riverfront Park in the amount of
$1,697, 000.00 including Alternate No. 1 , by H. B . Neild and Sons,
Inc. , to Beaumont Structures, Inc;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby , authorized to execute the appropriate documents approving the
assignment and releasing H. B . Neild and Sons, Inc. , from its
obligations under the contract.
