R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 28 , 1981, the City of Beaumont awarded
a bid for the demolition of Pipkin School to C . F . Walker Company
in the amount of $24, 416. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, prior to and after the date that the project was
accepted as complete, liens totaling $45, 932. 50 were filed against
C . F . Walker by various subcontractors; and,
WHEREAS, the project was completed at a cost of
$24,416. 00;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to accept
the project and make the following final pro-rated payments to lien
holders, all of whom have agreed to hold harmless the City of
Beaumont from all claims and causes of action:
