R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual maintenance
contract for the computer located at the Police Station; and,
WHEREAS, Data Corporation of Chicago, Illinois submitted
a bid in the amount of $7,444. 80 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Data Corporation is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Data Corporation in the amount of $7, 444.80 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a one ( 1 ) year maintenance contract with
Data Corporation in the amount of $7,444.80 beginning February 14,
1982 through February 13, 1983.
