WHEREAS, on October 13, 1981, the City of Beaumont awarded
a bid for the construction of an 11 unit T-Hangar building to Gary
Clark. Contractors, Inc. , in the amount of $229,516. 00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed increasing the total cost by the sum of $3 ,590.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
Change Order No . 1 , in the amount of $3 ,590. 00, to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. ,
increasing the amount of the contract from $229, 516. 00 to
$233,106. 00, to provide for the addition of a fire alarm system in
the T-hangars at Beaumont Municipal Airport.
