WHEREAS, in January of 1981, the City of Beaumont entered
into a one ( 1 ) year contract with Exxon for the purchase of 128,800
gallons of 100 octane low-lead aviation fuel at the Beaumont
Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, during 1981 the City purchased seventy-six
thousand (76,000) gallons of fuel;
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
one (1) year contract beginning February 1, 1982, with Exxon Company,
U. S. A. to purchase approximately seventy-six thousand five hundred
(76,500) gallons of aviation fuel at Beaumont Municipal Airport.
