WHEREAS, on December 22, 1981, the City of Beaumont
awarded a bid to System Technology for (15) CRT' s ; and,
WHEREAS, the CRT' s were not compatible with the City' s
computer system; and,
WHEREAS, the David Jamison Carlyle Corporation of
Houston submitted a bid in the amount of $11,625. 00'. ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by David Jamison Carlyle Corporation is the
best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of David Jamison Carlyle Corporation in the amount of
$11,625. 00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery. The award of bid to System Technology is
hereby rescinded.
