WHEREAS, on November 3, 1981, a City of Beaumont 1976 GMC
Siena 1/2 ton pick up was involved in an accident with an insured of
Employers Mutual Insurance Company; and,
WHEREAS, said truck was a total loss and is being sold to
Employers Mutual Insurance Company at its appraised value of
$1,530.00 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
payment of $1,530. 00 for said truck and to execute the appropriate
instrument transferring title to said truck and releasing all parties
from further claim for damages.
