BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay Lane
Texas Company of Houston, Texas, a sum not to exceed $3, 000. 00 for
the replacement of an upper bearing on a pump motor at #3 well
located north of Lumberton which produces 3, 500,000 gallons of
water per day to the west end of Beaumont. This payment is an
emergency of the City of Beaumont.
