BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce for funding the 1982
budget of the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau in the amount
of $330, 500.00 to be provided from the receipts of the hotel-motel
occupancy tax; provided, however, that the amount approved herein may
be increased in the sum of $25, 000 upon application by the Beaumont
Chamber of Commerce and approval of the City Council.
