R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mr . W. C. Tyrrell, Jr. , has tendered the City of
Beaumont a gift of stock valued at $16, 350.00, the proceeds of which
are to be used for the purchase of micro-equipment and micro-
materials for the Tyrrell Historical Library; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the gift
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the gift of stock from Mr.
W . C. Tyrrell, Jr. , the proceeds of which are to be used for the
purchase of micro-equipment and micro-materials for the Tyrrell
Historical Library; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to sell such stock as soon as
practicable after the gift is completed.
