R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two ( 2 )
portable diaphragm pumps and one (1 ) centrifugal trash pump; and,
WHEREAS, Cron Equipment Company of Houston, Texas and
Heatley Equipment Company of Beaumont, Texas submitted bids in
the amounts of $1, 468.00 and $3, 114.00, respectively for said
pumps; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by Cron Equipment Company and Heatley Equipment
Company are the lowest and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Cron Equipment Company and Heatley Equipment
Company in the amounts of $1 ,468.00 and $3, 114.00, respectively,
are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery.
