R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one ( 1 )
4-wheel drive pickup truck and two (2 ) suburban type vehicles to be
used by the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, J. K. Chevrolet of Port Neches, Texas submitted
bids in the amounts of $10,485.97 and $23,500.00, respectively;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by J. K. Chevrolet are the lowest and best bids and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of J. K. Chevrolet in the amounts of $10,485.97 and
$23,500.00, respectively, are hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make payment
for same upon acceptable delivery.
