R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 19 , 1981, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with John Bankston Construction & Equipment Rental,
Inc. , for 1981 Water System Improvements in the amount of
73, 113.25; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was implemented to revise
Project II of the contract by extending the proposed water line on
Hoover Street from North Tenth to North Ninth, down North Ninth
from Hoover to Jewel thereby increasing the contract total to
$91,363.25 ; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE'
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the installation of six (6 ) fire hydrants and seven thousand
three hundred fifteen (7,315) feet of water line is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to make final payment to John Bankston Construction & Equipment
Rental, Inc. , in the amount of $90,934.55.
