R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont entered into a contract
with B .R.H. Company, Inc. , for Grant #C-481254-04 -Contract 4,
Segment 70 Interceptor in the amount of $3 ,184,436.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been recommended to
provide for changes dictated by right-of-way considerations as
well as the installation of three (3 ) pressure tight manhole
covers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with B .R.H. Company, Inc. ,
thereby increasing the contract amount from $3, 184,436.00 to
$3, 192,157.80.
