WHEREAS, a bid was received for the annual contract for
rental of a Savin Model 895 copier with an option to renew the
contract at the end of twelve (12) months; and,
WHEREAS, Savin Corporation submitted a bid in the amount
of $230.00 per month which includes 5,000 copies and each copy
over 5 ,000 being $0.14 each; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Savin Corporation is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Savin Corporation is hereby accepted by the City
of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with same in the amount stated for the rental of the
Savin Model 895 copier.
