R E S O L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of
Riverfront Park; and,
WHEREAS, H. B. Neild and Sons, Inc. , submitted a bid in
the amount of $1,697,000, including Alternate No. 1; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by H. B. Neild and Sons, Inc. , is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of H. B. Neild and Sons, Inc. , in the amount of
$1,697,000, including Alternate No. 1, is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
award the contract for the construction of Riverfront Park to H.
B . Neild and Sons, Inc. , subject to approval by state and federal
agencies involved in grant assistance for this project.
