R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of
Roberts Park Playground, sidewalks, and concrete aprons; and,
WHEREAS, J. R. Plake, Inc. , submitted a bid in the
amount of $47,975.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by J. R. Plake, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of J. R. Plake, Inc. , in the amount of $47,975.00 is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract with same for the
construction of Roberts Park Playground, sidewalks, and concrete
aprons.
