WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of twenty
( 20) trash receptacles; and,
WHEREAS, Century Paper, Inc. , of Beaumont, submitted a
bid in the amount of $2 ,981.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Century Paper, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Century Paper, Inc. , in the amount of $2,981.00 is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery .
