WHEREAS, bids were received for the emergency replace-
ment of a diesel engine in a side loading refuse truck; and,
WHEREAS, Kinsel Ford, Inc. , submitted a bid in the
amount of $5,658.78; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Kinsel Ford, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Kinsel Ford, Inc. , is hereby accepted by the City
of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make
payment upon acceptable delivery and installation.
