WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of various
periodicals for a one-year period to be used in the library
system; and,
WHEREAS, Southwest Business Publishing Company submitted
a bid in the amount of $5,226.70 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Southwest Business Publishing Company is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Southwest Business Publishing Company is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make payment for same .
