R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for repairs to number one
high head pump motor at the water treatment plant; and,
WHEREAS, these repairs will consist of labor and
material to rewind starter, clear, dip, bake, balance motor, and
testing; and,
WHEREAS, General Electric Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $3,109.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by General Electric Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of General Electric Company in the amount of
$3,109.00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same.
